Turkey Run.....well tumble anyway!
Sitting on the table surrounded by crackers at christmas was not a fate this turkey was willing to accept. Instead he took the brave and daring route to escape. Unfortunately he did not come out of this unscathed. He came to our hospital with a serious gaping wound on his side. With the care and attention from our volunteers, he soon made a speedy recovery. He can currently be seen strutting around the paddock area, showing off his new plush feathers to the other residents. He has most recently taken to defending this territory even against the volunteers trying to feed him! That's gratitude for you..... A few words from the turkey himself.... gobble gobble gobble
